Manufacturing process of cosmetic glass bottles
1. Glass manufacturing
The most basic method of manufacturing cosmetic glass bottles is glass manufacturing. The raw materials for making glass are generally quartz sand, sodium carbonate and limestone. After mixing these raw materials in a certain proportion, they are melted in a high-temperature furnace, and then the molten glass is adsorbed on the fiber by a glass fiber machine, and then quickly cooled to form a glass tube or disc.
2. Molding
The finished glass tube is made into glass bottles of different shapes, such as round, square, trapezoidal, etc., through processes such as cutting, heating and blowing.
1. Cutting
Cut the glass tube or disc into the required length and cut it with a knife. Usually, the cutting length is longer than the final bottle length for subsequent processing.
2. Heating
Put the cut glass tube or disc into a special heating furnace and heat it to a certain temperature to soften the glass. This makes it easier to shape the bottle when blowing, and also reduces the probability of bubbles and sintering points.
3. Blow molding
After heating the glass tube or disc, a certain amount of gas is blown into it through a glass blowpipe to expand it into the shape of the bottle. When blowing, different shapes of glass bottles require different blowing molds. Then the shape of the bottle is corrected by a machine to increase its beauty.
