The process of cosmetic bottles includes injection molding, blow molding, die casting, thermoforming, glass molding and other methods.
1. Injection molding process
Injection molding is a process that melts plastic particles by heating them and injects them into the mold, and then cools them to form the desired shape. The injection molding process of cosmetic bottles generally uses plastic materials such as high-density polyethylene, polypropylene, and polycarbonate. The products processed by the injection molding process have high surface smoothness and light weight, and are often used to manufacture the shells, lids, and stoppers of cosmetic bottles.
2. Blow molding process
Blow molding is a process in which pre-heated plastic particles are placed in a blow molding machine, pressurized gas is added to fill the mold, and then taken out after cooling. The blow molding process of cosmetic bottles uses plastic materials such as polyethylene and PET. The products processed by the blow molding process are hard and tough, and are widely used in the manufacture of cosmetic bottles such as lipstick tubes, spray bottles, and lotion bottles.
3. Die casting process
Die casting is a process in which molten metal is injected into a high-pressure mold and cooled to form the desired shape. The die casting process of cosmetic bottles usually uses materials such as zinc alloy and aluminum alloy. The die-casting process is more expensive, but the product surface can be sprayed with various colors, which makes it easy to manufacture high-grade cosmetic bottles.
4. Thermoforming process
Thermoforming is a process of plastic processing a pre-heated plastic sheet into the desired shape. The thermoforming process of cosmetic bottles is suitable for bottles with regular shapes and small thickness, such as basic foundation bottles, isolation cream bottles, etc. Commonly used materials include polystyrene, etc.
5. Glass forming process
The glass forming process is a process of heating glass to a plastic state and forming it into the desired shape by blowing, stretching, etc. Glass cosmetic bottles generally use materials such as sodium glass and boron glass. Cosmetic bottles made by glass forming process have high transparency, exquisite appearance, and will not react to cosmetics.
